What do you eat to have a healthy balanced energy?
I have changed my diet & feel so much better. I went from a junk food diet for many years to a better diet to now eating small healthy meals throughout the day…Now I want more energy but no in a hyper way. I really want stable energy. I want to make commintment to do things that will require me to be mentally at my best. I want energy, clarity. Do you purposely do anything so you will be more alert? What is the best diet for someone ready to live their best life now?

whole wheat bread, natural products with a lot of protein and carbs, and working out 5 days a week.

5 hour energy drinks

Foods that give you energy are slow to digest and don’t spike your blood sugar. You probably know to stay away from anything that is sweetened with sugar products. These things will cause a spike in your energy followed by a feeling of being tired. The best thing to eat to maintain your energy are whole grains, vegetables and lean protiens. These foods are also the best for losing weight and for maintaining a stable weight.

foods that are often neglected but that have an excellent nutritional value are:

-whole grain products (ex. oats for breakfast)
-nuts (hazelnuts, wallnuts, almonds, braz and ind nuts..), legumes (peanuts, peas..) and seeds (falx, sunflowers, pumpkin….)
-green tea (to clean your organism from free radicals)
-iron suppliers (red beat, egg yolk, calf’s liver, spinach…)
-yogurt (for the colon, and for decreasing chol lev and blood pressure)

soy products…avocado

ginseng or green tea ginko

nuts and lentils and basmati rice (or brown rice and tofu) are good for protein and long lasting energy

I eat poultry and fish maybe twice a week.
